Christmas Messiah Performance

Let your holiday spirits soar at one of two performances of Handel’s Messiah at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Please Note: This event is from 2015

The Friends of the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall present two performances of Handel's Messiah, performed by the University of North Florida Chamber Singers and Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Cara Tasher, on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

The Christmas Messiah, an annual holiday event in Ponte Vedra Beach, offers two performances of George Frideric Handel's famous 1741 composition The Messiah. The Matinee Performance at 3 p.m. is an abbreviated version, featuring Messiah favorites only, and lasting about an hour. This performance is ideal for families, seniors, and anyone else who would prefer to attend a shorter mid-afternoon performance instead of the full Messiah performance later that evening. The Evening Performance of the full Christmas Messiah begins at 7:30 p.m. and will last approximately two hours.

Admission: Tickets for the Matinee Performance are $15 per person and can be purchased here. Tickets for the Evening Performance are $20 per person and can be purchased here. This event usually sells out, so there may not be tickets remaining on the day of the performance. Tickets are sold separately for the two performances and are available only online.

When? Saturday, December 5, 2015: 3 - 4 p.m. and 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Where? The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
