The kick-off event for the Community First Credit Undion's A December to Remember festivities planned at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre is on Saturday, November 28, 2015. The Amphitheatre opens its holiday activities area for the monthlong celebration, with magic (and snow!) in the air, as well as tons of free activities for kids of all ages, capped off by a free showing of the Christmas classic movie, "Elf."

There will be food trucks, elf workshops, train rides, face painting, a bounce house and visits from Santa, all beginning at 4 p.m. The movie will be shown at 6 p.m.

"Elf" tells the story of Buddy (Will Ferrell), an orphan who stowed away in Santa's sack and ended up at the North Pole, where he was raised by Santa's elves. The movie follows Buddy as he searches for his father and deals with the real world he has never known.

Admission: FREE

When? Saturday, November 28, 2015. Amphitheatre gates open for A Decemember to Remember at 4 p.m. Movie starts at 6:00 p.m.
