Earth Day Celebration at Anastasia State Park

On Friday, April 21, 2017, Anastasia State Park will host an Earth Day celebration fit for all ages.

For entertainment, Smokey the Bear will be on site to greet children and teach them about the importance of protecting forests. In addition, there will be exhibitors to provide information and activities to allow guests to get up and close with nature, including live sea creatures, butterflies, bees, native plants, and Audubon birds.

Exhibitors from Florida Fish and Wildlife, the Matanzas River Keeper, Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, and the Sea Turtle Patrol will also be in attendance.

Admission: Regular park admission applies. $8.00 for vehicles with two to eight passengers; $4.00 for single occupant vehicles; $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, or additional vehicle passengers.

When: Friday, April 21, 2017, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Where: Anastasia State Park is located at 300 Anastasia Park Road in St. Augustine, Florida 32080. Attendees should meet at the Sea Turtle Pavilion near Island Beach Grill in the beach parking lot.
