Flagler College Gilded Age Fashion Show
Flagler College gives visitors a glimspe into the past with the Gilded Age Fashion Show.
Historic Tours of Flagler College presents two shows of the Gilded Age Fashion Show on Friday, September 4, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The event is free to the public in honor of St. Augustine's 450th commemoration. The exhibit will be unveiled in Flagler College's Rotunda.
Flagler College's Theatre Arts Department is putting all their effort into recreating 19th century fashion from scratch for the exhibit. The exhibit will give visitors and locals a chance to see the styles and patterns hotel guests would have worn back in 1888—the year the Hotel Ponce de Leon opened.
