The 2015 Flagler College Community Lecture series finishes with Professor Tracy Upchurch's presentation on "Reunion: St. Augustine After the Civil War." This marks the final entry into the lecture series entitled "Exploration: Passions, Implications, and Reflections."

Tracy Upchurch holds an M.A. in American History from the University of North Florida and specializes in teaching American history at Flagler. His primary research focus concerns the American Civil War and Southern Unionists in Florida. Professor Upchurch's career spans 25 years as a practicing attorney, a former Florida state representative, and a former mayor of the City of St. Augustine.

The Flagler College Community Lecture Series began in 2007 to offer the St. Augustine community an opportunity to explore topics covering arts, religion, politics, culture, history, economics and more with experts on the Flagler College faculty. Lectures take place monthly, last approximately one hour, and are followed by a coffee and pastry reception
