Greek Landing Day 2015

Greek Landing Day is an event at St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine that commemorates that arrival of 500 Greeks to America with British emissary, Dr. Andrew Turnbull. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday, September 4 and 5, 2015.

Friday, September 4: 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.

• Food will be provided in the St. Photios Constantine Courtyard.
• Greek folk dancers will be celebrating throughout the city.

Saturday, September 5: 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

• Memorial walk from St. Photios to Tolomato Cemetery.
• Commemoration of lives from the original expedition.
• Food and pastry sale at the St. Photios Shrine.
• Greek folk dancers will be celebrating throughout the city.
