Ocean Extreme Sports is hosting three days of Halloween-themed kiteboarding and stand up paddleboard (SUP) events in St. Augustine from Friday, October 31 - Sunday, November 2, 2014. Events will include gear demos, parties, a pig roast, and lots of kiteboarding and stand up paddleboard competitions.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase (3 tickets for $5, 10 tickets for $10, and 20 tickets for $20.) Prizes include kiteboarding and SUP boards and gear.

Two of the main Halloween Blast events are the Zombie Paddle Take-Over and the Stand Up Paddleboard races:
Zombie Paddle Take-Over and Halloween Party
The Zombie Paddle Take-Over on the afternoon of Halloween, Friday, October 31, 2014, from 3:30 - 6 p.m., with a costume party to follow at 7 p.m.
Participants should meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Vilano Beach Boat Ramp on the west side of the bridge. The Paddle begins at 4 p.m. Once all the zombies are on the water, the Paddle guides will lead them south through Hospital Creek beside the Mission and out to the bayfront waters in front of the Castillo de San Marcos. A costume party will follow at Zaharias restaurant, with live music and spirits from 7 - 10 p.m.
Admission: The Zombie Paddle Take-Over is free if you have your own board; $35 to rent a board.
When? Friday, October 31, 2014, from 3:30 - 6 p.m. Party at Zaharias follows at 7 p.m.
Where? The Vilano Beach Boat Ramp is located at 101 Vilano Causeway.
Stand Up Paddleboard Races
On Saturday, November 1, Ocean Extreme Sports will host stand up paddleboard races: a one-mile anything floats, a three-mile recreational, and a five-mile elite (12'6" or 14' boards). The races will be held at the Matanzas inlet on the inside (not on the ocean side).
Registration for these races is at 8 a.m., with the races beginning shortly thereafter. Early registration is available online or at Ocean Extreme Sports, located at 3930 Florida A1A in St. Augustine Beach.
Admission: $15 to race.
When? Saturday, November 1, from 8 a.m. - 12 noon.
Where? Matanzas Inlet on the inside (opposite the ocean side).
The proceeds from this year's Halloween Blast will benefit the St. Augustine Life Saving Association, the local chapter of the United States Lifesaving Association.
