The St. Augustine Garrison presents a reenactment of a 1740-era Changing of the Guard ceremony monthly on select Saturdays throughout the year in St. Augustine's historic district. The Garrison takes the summer off because of the heat, and the next ceremony will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

The event begins at 6:15 p.m. at the Colonial Quarter, where participants will muster and then march down St. George Street to the Governor's House at the Plaza de la Constitución. There, the reenactors will perform authentic military drills before firing a volley of musketry.

Following the reenactment, members of the St. Augustine Garrison will be available for photos and questions.
