Aberdeen Amenity Center hosts the First Coast Kids Swim Run Race on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
As part of the esteemed Florida Race Day Kids Triathlon/Duathlon Series, this event welcomes children ages 6 to 14 to showcase their athleticism. During this event, participants will showcase their swimming prowess by completing laps in the pool, followed by a thrilling run to the finish line. To ensure accuracy and fairness, the event will be chip-timed, providing each participant with an official finisher's time.
Before the race kicks off, organizers will conduct a comprehensive course briefing at 8:30 a.m., ensuring both parents and athletes are well-prepared for the excitement ahead. Please note that spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended to secure your child's spot in this year's event.
The event is organized by age group.
- Ages 6 to 8: Swim 50 yards, run approximately 0.5 miles
- Ages 9 to 11: Swim 100 yards, run approximately 1.0 miles
- Ages 12 to 14: Swim 150 yards, run approximately 1.5 miles
Every participant will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a Florida Race Day finisher medal, and access to professionally captured race photos. Exciting awards await the top three male and female finishers in each age category.
Registration: Register for this event for $40.00 up until July 30, 2024, after which the price will increase.
