The Noche de Gala is where visitors and locals can celebrate the 496th birthday of St. Augustine's founder, Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles in 16th-century style. This 450th heritage event will take place inside the refined and beautiful ballroom and mezzanine of the Lightner Museum.

The night begins just after the Grand Birthday Procession downtown, as the historic re-enactors lead the parade to the Lightner Museum. The gala opens with cocktail hour, then an elegant sit-down dinner including exciting live entertainment and dancing.

Cocktail hour begins at the Lightner at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. Dinner will be out on the Mezzanine at 8:00 p.m. There will be entertainment featuring Menendez, his entourage, 16th century musicians with horns, and swordsmen.

Attire: Black tie or 16th century costume.

Admission: $195 per person and advance reservations are required
